In a continuation of the Bankhead barbecue run from earlier this year, we stopped in Owens Bar-B-Que, in Tallapoosa, for a quick lunch. The smoker out front was pouring smoke and that was all it took to draw me in.
The BBEEST said the law was one of the best she’d had. Kind of sweet. Kind of tart. Vegetables chopped very small. Kind of creamy.
As I didn’t get around to posting this timely and I can’t remember all the remainder of the details of the meal, I’m now posting this restaurant as a photo blog.
