Heading back to DFW after some meetings, I was struck with the brilliant idea to swing by Pecan Lodge, for what are (potentially) the greatest burnt ends on earth. Tragically, they close at 3:00 on Wednesdays, so my hopes were dashed. My taste buds were now set for burnt ends, so I consulted the Texas Monthly barbecue app and found that 18th & Vine BBQ was a) open, b) rated well and c) close by.


As I didn’t get around to posting this timely and I can’t remember more details of the meal, I’m now posting this restaurant as a photo blog.
