
In early July, I saw a review of Great Sichuan in the AJC, a relatively new Szechuan restaurant in John’s Creek. They serve both Chinese-American and Szechuan dishes.


I ordered the Shan City Spicy chicken, which is my litmus test for a Szechuan place and it was spot on. Spicy enough to enjoy it, but not enough to make you cry. I also ordered the salt and pepper prawns,

which were served head & tail on. They say that leaving these on adds to the flavor, but it sure doesn’t make them easier to eat.
