Looking for Friday night dinner plans, at the last minute, our prime criteria was not having to wait. Open Table found us a 7:15 spot at Ecco and (to quote John Lee Hooker ) “out the door I went.”

I had eaten at Ecco some years back, meeting a friend before a basketball game, but hadn’t done so since starting this blogging adventure.  Ecco is part of the Fifth Group Restaurants (South City Kitchen, Lure, La Tavola, Alma Cocina and the Original El Taco) and has been open on 7th street, between Peachtree and West Peachtree.  If you’re heading that way, you need to come from Peachtree, as 7th is one way, west bound.

As I didn’t get around to posting this timely and I can’t remember all the details of the meal, I’m now posting this restaurant as a photo blog.
