Camping with our kids over at Providence Canyon, we were discussing lunch options and thought we’d head over to Opelika, to Bow & Arrow for lunch.  One of us loves the barbecue and the other loves Memaw’s Eclairs.  But when we got to Bow & Arrow, they were closed.  I had checked the hours on line, but was having a hard time placing an order on their app.

That required a moment to re-camp and look for other options – google turned up Butcher Paper BBQ.  And they were open!  We popped the address in the GPS and headed that direction.

I went with the brisket, with green beans and Brunswick stew.  I didn’t ask for the pickles, but they magically appeared.

And a side of banana pudding.
